Farmhouse Cavalier Caronte
Recently refurbished, the "Cavalier Caronte" coutry farmhouse is easily accesible, being just 3 km from the Dolo-Mirano motorway exit, 3 km from Ballò di Mirano station, and a couple of kilometres from Dolo, the historic and geographical centre of the Brenta Riviera. A few yards form the entrance gate, there is a bus stop which provides a different way of visiting Venice (which is about 20 km away).The farmhouse in its entirety is about 400 square metres, of which the ground floor is available for accomodation, the upper floor being the old grain-loft.
Adjoining the house are the stable-block, now disused, the wine cellar and the barn.The groud floor of 150 square metres consists of a spacius farmhouse kitchen with separate cooking area (sink, cooker, oven, pantry and fridge), three large double rooms (with accomodation for 6-7 people) and bathroom (including shower, wc, bidet, washbasin, washing machine and hair dryer). The furnishing is appropriately rural in style, being simple and functional. The spacious rooms guarantee a good night's rest and have wide windows that look out into a splendid view of the garden and of the adjoining fields (about 2 acres).
The "Cavalier Caronte" offers various services included in the price: plenty of parking within the walls, and one covered car parking space. Small pets are welcome.Electricity, heating, gas, washing machine, TV, Radio, etc.are all incuded, as are sheets and towels. In addition, the price includes the cleaning of the premises, once before and once after the visit.

VISITS, ACTIVITIES AND PLACES OF INTEREST
The position is strategic, giving easy access to many important historical cities such as Padova (with its splendid hills, the Colli Euganei), Vicenza, Verona (an hour's drive) and Venice (15 minutes by train, 20 minutes by car and 40 minutes by bus). It also offers the possibility of pleasant trips to the sea (Sottomarina 40 km/ Jesolo 60 km) or to the mountains (Asiago about 100km). It is the ideal point of departure for visits to the very famous Brenta Riviera with its stunning villas (notably the Villa Pisani at Stra) set in beautiful surroundings, that were, in the 1700s the luxurious meeting-place for the Venetian nobility. Mini-cruise boat trips between Venice and Padova through the Doge's lands with the burchiello are also fascinating. (For information see http://www.ilburchiello.it/.). The owners will always be or the charming streets of Dolo, either on foot or on bicycles which we can provide free of charge. For nature-lovers, in the month of September, you have an opportunity to assist with the grape harvest (with wine-tasting included, naturally!).
